Established June 20, 1984, JD Backhoe, Inc. has proudly served South Florida for over 40 years. Our corporate offices have been located in Davie, Florida since our founding, and we continue to build on a legacy of quality, safety, and customer commitment.
Jeff Dixon, our Secretary/Treasurer, is deeply involved in every project. His hands-on approach includes direct daily communication with project owners and clients, ensuring transparency and responsiveness. Mr. Dixon is also a respected member of the Town of Davie Planning and Zoning Board, reflecting our company’s strong community ties.
Safety is at the core of everything we do. All JD Backhoe managers and superintendents hold OSHA 30-Hour Certifications, and we maintain strict adherence to safety protocols on every job site with zero exceptions.
Our equipment fleet is comprehensive. We own and operate GPS trackhoes, combination backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, graders, laser dozers, dump trucks, rollers, fuel trucks, haul trucks, pipe lasers, and other heavy civil construction instruments. This allows us to handle a wide range of project types efficiently and reliably.
Our team of 40 skilled employees is committed to excellence. From experienced operators to estimators, general superintendent, office manager & general manager, JD Backhoe’s leadership team brings 120+ years of combined experience. We all share the same goal: to complete each project safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
